On April 6th 2023, Department of Chemistry at Rutgers-Camden has completed the installation of a Bruker Microflex-LRF MALDI-TOF Mass Spectrometer, as well as a basic training for bio-applications.  Laura Freeman, Jinglin Fu and Bruker scientists of Terry Murphy and Nannan Tao organized the installation and training. The three-day training has included multiple faculty members and students from Chemistry, Physics, Biology of Rutgers, as well as researchers from nearby schools of Rowan, Temple and Coriell Institute. The MALDI-TOF will increase the molecular accuracy of biomolecules and polymers to advance research in Biomaterials, Nanotechnology, Cell Biology, Chemical Biology, Molecular Sensing and Medicine Development, as well as improving STEM education at Rutgers-Camden.
